Ocearch, a shark tracking and research operation, said Yeti was tracked Nov. 16 off Delaware from a “ping” on a device attached to the shark. In October, a white shark named Miss Costa, which weighed 1,700 pounds and stretched 12.5 feet, gave off a GPS-tracking signal along Virginia’s coast, according to Ocearch.
