The facemasks and social distancing guidelines are asked to be strictly followed and implemented by the Telangana Health Department. The Omicron variant is now spreading at a fast pace across the limits of Hyderabad. Dr G Srinivasa Rao said that 70 percent of the cases tested positive in Telangana are of the Omicron variant. So considering the spread and the recent registered cases, the Omicron cases will be higher than the predictions. The government of Telangana also revealed that they would not announce the new Omicron cases reported in the state in the coming weeks.
