(Photo by Suthorn Pongpao)AYUTTHAYA - Sixty drug suspects were arrested and about 400 methamphetamine pills seized in a drug suppression operation on 30 communities in six districts on Tuesday night. The target areas were drug-infested communities in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, Uthai, Wang Noi, Bang Pa-in, Bang Pahan and Lat Bualuang districts. The operation was launched as Ayutthaya is known to be a storage area for drugs before being distributed further elsewhere. Suspects are presented at the press conference in Ayutthaya province. Prayoon Rattanaseni, the provincial governor, and Pol Maj Gen Suthi Puangpikul, the provincial police chief, said at a press conference on Wednesday that 60 suspects were arrested and about 400 methamphetamine pills seized in the operation.
