Two adults were killed after the minivan they were in was hit by a semi-trailer as part of a four-vehicle crash on the Perimeter Highway just north of Winnipeg yesterday afternoon. The 18-wheel semi was eastbound on the Perimeter around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday when it failed to stop for a red light, say RCMP. Police say the crash spun both vehicles into oncoming westbound traffic on the Perimeter, with the semi colliding with a third vehicle and either the semi or the minivan hit a fourth vehicle. RCMP say no other injuries were reported. RCMP say alcohol is not considered a factor.
