Faruk is a bona fide gold smuggler who had finances the some of the gold himself and Shahin is their driver. DC Nazmul said: “The air hostesses, who were involved in this ring, setup the gold bars under the aircraft’s seats. The gold bars were supposed to be handed over to someone in Kaula area, Dhaka. DC Nazmul said the trio is part of a big gold smuggling ring who communicate through an encrypted messaging service called WeChat.
