DHAKA, Oct 24, 2023 (BSS) - Bangladesh Railway (BR) has suspended threeofficials in the terrible train accident in Bhairab of Kishoreganj. These three officials are the Locomaster, Assistant Locomaster and Guard ofthe freight train. Divisional Manager (Dhaka Division) of Bangladesh Railway Md Shafiqul Islamtold media that the suspended three officials are Locomaster Jahangir Alam,Assistant Locomaster Atiqur Rahman and Guard of the container train AlamgirHossain. He said they have taken the steps following preliminary investigation as theofficials failure to discharge their duty which resulting an accident thattook 17 lives.
