After the shootout, police rescued the bullet-injured duo and sent them to Feni Sadar Hospital, where the on-duty doctors declared them dead, said Shafayet. In Dhaka, a suspected criminal was killed in an alleged gunfight with police in Nawabganj upazila of Dhaka. “As the team reached there, the criminals opened fire at them, triggering a gunfight.”After the skirmish, Ripon's body was recovered from the spot.
