ROME — Two Italians and a Canadian citizen who were kidnapped in southern Libya by armed men in September were freed unharmed and flown to Italy in the early hours of Saturday, the Italian authorities said. The officials identified the Italians as Danilo Calonego and Bruno Cacace and the Canadian citizen of Italian origin as Frank Poccia. The Italiana ANSA news agency said the three men were all technicians involved in projects at the airport in Ghat. Since the ouster of its longtime ruler, Col. Muammar el-Qaddafi, in 2011, Libya has been divided by tribal and militia rivalries, with no clear central government.
