A toddler has died after he and his mother were hit by a car in Coquitlam, B.C., on MondayB.C. Emergency Health Services said the pair was struck at Pinetree Way and Tantalus Court just after 6:30 p.m. PT. RCMP said the mother, 36, remains in hospital in serious condition. The two-year-old boy was taken to hospital in critical condition and died Tuesday, Mounties said. Anyone who saw the collision is asked contact the Coquitlam RCMP non-emergency number at 604 945 1550 and ask to speak to Traffic Investigators about file 2020-27135.
