TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Philippines — Two boys died while another suffered serious injuries when a dike in Barangay Macate, Bambang, Nueva Vizcaya collapsed on Wednesday. The fatalities were identified as brothers Mike John Yadao, 8, and Justine Sean, 4. Initial investigation showed the victims were playing near a damaged portion of the dike when it gave way. Kevin Joe, whose legs were hit by falling rocks, managed to seek help before he lost consciousness. The dike was constructed in 2017, according to the Department of Public Works and Highways.
