A shooting erupted outside a courthouse in eastern Arizona during a dispute over a custody hearing, leaving two women dead and another person wounded, officials said. A suspect was arrested after encountering the women late Tuesday afternoon near the entrance of Navajo County Superior Court and opening fire following the hearing, county spokesman Adam Wolfe said. "This was an unfortunate situation, but our top objective was to protect the employees and citizens inside the building," Navajo County Sheriff KC Clark said in a news release. The gunfire prompted officials to lock down the courthouse in Holbrook. Wolfe said the third victim suffered a leg wound, but no further details were immediately available.
