Mr Trump then held a second call with Mr Putin on Monday, said White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt in a post on X. “President Trump has concluded a positive call with President Putin concerning Ukraine,” Leavitt wrote. In his exchanges with reporters, Mr Zelenskiy said Moscow had fabricated the alleged drone attack to justify not taking necessary steps to end the war.
