Milinda Moragoda, Sri Lanka’s High Commissioner to be in New Delhi has stated that the relationship between Sri Lanka and India should be one that is more strategic. In an Interview with The Hindu, Moragoda claimed that current Indo-Lanka ties are “asymmetric”, and the focus must be on elevating bilateral ties from the current “transactional” phase.
