He also accused Farah Khan, an associate of the first lady, of being complicit in these transfers. Aleem criticised the prime minister for Sunday’s dissolution of the National Assembly as well, questioning what had stopped him from doing so before. Responding to Aleem’s press conference, PTI spokesperson Shehbaz Gill refuted his claims regarding the prime minister. Gill also called on Aleem to provide proof for his allegations against Farah Khan and CM Buzdar.

LAHORE: The four-nation Super Series involving Pakistan, India, Australia and England – suggested by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) – is estimated to generate $650 million in profit, according to a report. The proposal will be presented formally at the International Cricket Council (ICC) Board meeting on April 10 in Dubai which will be attended by PCB Chairperson Ramiz Raja and Chief Executive Faisal Hasnain. The PCB chairman is taking a keen interest in the series. The money generated by the tournament will be distributed among the four sides and the ICC members. The four-nation Super Series can fill the vacuum.”

Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Sunday said that Prime Minister Imran Khan and all characters involved in the "conspiracy" against the nation are guilty of high treason and should be tried under Article 6 of the Constitution. The former premier's remarks came after President Arif Alvi approved the advice of Prime Minister Imran Khan to dissolve the National Assembly after a summary was sent by the premier in the wake of a no-trust move against him. "Today, a man obsessed with power trampled the Constitution," Nawaz wrote on his official Twitter handle. Hitting back at Prime Minister Imran Khan over his allegations that opposition was part of a “foreign conspiracy” to topple his government through no-confidence motion, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday claimed that the premier was conspiring to divide the nation instead of acknowledging his defeat. The opposition leader, addressing a press conference in the federal capital, said that a treason case should be registered against Prime Minister Imran. “I have said this many times before… the independence of the nation is meaningless if it is not economically self-sufficient,” he remarked. ISLAMABAD – Following the orders of IGP Islamabad Muhammad Ahsan Younas, the Anti Vehicle Lifting Cell of Islamabad Police, in a massive crackdown against car-lifters has arrested two car-lifters involved in numerous car pilfering incidents, a police spokesman said on Saturday. IGP Islamabad has appreciated the performance of the police team and further directed them to continue this crackdown. He said that Islamabad police have already returned more than 60 vehicles to their actual owners. SP Saddar Tassawar Iqbal constituted special police teams in the area to arrest the criminal involved in street crimes.
