In 25 IP, he’s given up just 8 hits and struck out 39. But so far in May, he’s 8 for 16 so maybe he’s gotten into his groove. Another guy to watch is 3B Riley Tirotta who has a similar offensive outcome to Barger so far this season. Graham Spraker is doing well given his burden of having walked a batter per IP so far, but that has to stop. Gabby Moreno is hitting .299 but hasn’t hit one out yet, he’s fine but not kicking down the door for a promotion yet.

A comprehensive strategy that ensures protection against the consequences of such kind of climate change must be devised keeping in mind the vulnerable segments of society. Another related problem is that of water shortages that have caused strain on inter-provincial relations. This was expected as Minister for Climate Change Senator Sherry Rehman had already issued warnings about the probability of such an event earlier. Right now, we must tackle climate change as if we are on a war footing. It is vital that provincial disaster management authorities (PDMAs) devise a strategy that minimises the impact of the unprecedented effects of climate change all the while protecting the most vulnerable in the country.

Architectural accessibility is not everything people with disabilities need. While the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) broadly underscore the importance of disability-inclusive development; people with disabilities face exclusion especially in developing countries because of systemic corruption and the absence of a political will. Things become worse in a mixed environment as children with disabilities need extra support for adjusting to other students who do not have special needs. The views and inputs of a diverse range of young persons with disabilities are generally required to ensure meaningful outcomes. Young persons with disabilities currently do not have enough advocacy opportunities or the capacity required to effectively advocate for their rights in the country.
