Pakistani currency maintained its downtrend for the fourth consecutive day on Thursday but it resisted larger losses, signalling that the market would stabilise around Rs280 against the US dollar in inter-bank dealings. The uptick in demand for the US dollar and the downtick in foreign currency reserves came after the government let foreign companies send profits and dividends to their headquarters abroad. Market talk suggests that the demand for dollars surpassed their supply because the foreign currency was required to pay for imports and repay foreign debt. In open market, the rupee remained unchanged at Rs282/$ for the second consecutive day, according to the Exchange Companies Association of Pakistan. Besides, the rupee depreciation and uptick in gold demand forced the pricing committee to revise up the rate.

Cameron Parker (@camerondparker) - I’ll say the secondary because I think the Longhorn's run game will be good enough for Maalik or Arch to lean on. I think they’ll be able to handle BYU without Watts, Catalan, and Barron but Kansas State could be a real problem. Sark said on Thursday that Maalik Murphy will be the starter against BYU with Ewers officially out. Will Texas avoid an upset to BYU or will the ghost of Taysom Hill plague the Longhorns? The year 1949 marked a crucial turning point when the United Nations passed a resolution laying the groundwork for the settlement of this protracted conflict. The United Nations Commission for India and Pakistan (UNCIP) played a pivotal role by adopting resolutions on August 13, 1948, and January 5, 1949. Thousands of Kashmiris, including prominent leaders like Masarrat Aalam Butt, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, and Aasiya Andrabi, are unjustly detained in Indian prisons, while the rest suffer under the weight of Indian state terrorism. The UNCIP resolution of January 5, 1949, authorised the people of Jammu and Kashmir to hold a free and UN-supervised plebiscite. Jammu and Kashmir is now undergoing a disturbing transformation into an Indian settler-colonial and apartheid project, mirroring the Israeli model.

She underscored that addressing climate change was a collective responsibility, with an active role for the nation’s citizens, not solely reliant on the government. “People shouldn’t depend only on governments; with small steps, we can bring big change.
