The presidential candidate of the Collaborating Political Parties (CPP), Alexander Cummings, might announce Cllr. Charlyne Brumskine, the daughter of the late veteran politician, and founder of the Liberty Party, Cllr. It is however unclear how much impact Cummings’ naming of Brumskine would have on voters, given that she is relatively new to the open political space. Her potential candidacy as running mate to Cummings could set her up to exceed what her father tried to do for many years but fell short. Cummings pledged to rid Liberia of endemic corruption that has stifled the underdevelopment of the country if he wins this year’s election.

MONROVIA – Monrovia witnessed the 27th Ordinary Congress of the Liberia Football Association (LFA) held over the weekend at the new LFA headquarters, where over 100 accredited stakeholders were present. According to Chapter 19, Article 33 of the revised LFA statute, Congress is the highest decision-making body and represents the interests of all LFA members. However, statistics taken by the reporter indicated that about 90% of stakeholders who attended the 27th Ordinary Congress did not study the Congressional Documents, and about 30% of stakeholders were interchangeably out of the Congress Hall. Critics rated the organization of the 27th Ordinary Congress as averagely good, but said that stakeholders sold their birth rights by bargaining with the LFA on all proposals and reports without asking necessary questions.

“It was in 2002 and 2001,” said “H2,” whose name is withheld to protect him from retributions. Prosecutors say Massaquoi committed heinous crimes, including rape and ritual murders in towns and villages in Lofa County, and at Waterside in Monrovia. A prosecution witness is hospitalized in Sierra Leone, while a defense witness—a policeman couldn’t come to Liberia, because his superior didn’t approve his travel. This leaves the Court with the only option of admitting the witnesses’ statements to Finnish police into evidence, which will be done in Finland. The Court leaves Liberia for Finland Friday.

Fayiah worked for MANO Manufacturing Company as a salesman whose job it was to take orders, supervise deliveries, and collect money from customers. Last July 2022, after deliveries, and receiving payment, suspect Fayiah failed to report back to the office of Mano Manufacturing Company (MANCO). When he got to the border to cross into Ivory Coast, he was arrested by the Ghanaian security,” a top security officer told the media. Fayiah was a player on the Mighty Barrolle basketball team, sponsored by Mano Manufacturing Company (MANCO).
