Ronnie O’Sullivan to treat himself after scrappy Masters quarter-final successPA Sport StaffRonnie O’Sullivan relished the prospect of a “massive, dirty curry” after grinding out a 6-3 win over Barry Hawkins in a Masters quarter-final that lacked spice. The seven-times winner looked under the weather as he wore a thick coat for his post-match TV interview, muttering: “I fancy a curry – a massive, dirty curry. A horrendous miscue from O’Sullivan, in which he missed the pink completely, was greeted with a sigh of exasperation but Hawkins missed the same ball at a stretch with the spider to let the favourite back in. O’Sullivan said he had been “lucky to get through” to what will be his 15th appearance in the semi-finals of the Masters. Lost my hearing as well when I was in China, I’ve not been too well, but I think everybody has been like that.”

Traditional shoe caddies or boxes didn't really work because there's not much horizontal space, so I tried the Shoe Slotz. Because the design smartly stacks one shoe on top of the other, you save 50% of the space you'd normally use to store your shoes." Promising review: "I will spare you the horrific 'before' picture of the complete nightmare that was my closet floor. Ian Snowden, Permanent Secretary at the Department for the Economy in Northern Ireland (Liam McBurney/PA)“I’m sure a lot of you here will have concerns about the UK Government’s proposed electronic travel authorisation scheme. “There is a real risk here that that might discourage tourists who come to Ireland, including Northern Ireland, as part of their itinerary during their visit, and given that 70% of our overseas visitors travel here via the Republic, getting the operation messaging around that scheme right will be hugely important. “To that end, the department has been engaging closely with the Home Office about the factors that they need to consider about Northern Ireland and how they develop their communications strategy and how they operate the scheme. A UK Government spokesperson responded: “We are introducing an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) scheme to enhance our ability to prevent the travel of those who present a threat to the UK. “Individuals arriving in the UK, including Northern Ireland, will need to continue to enter in line with the UK’s immigration framework, including obtaining an ETA if required.

Analysts say the Ukrainian military needs more troops to make up for heavy losses in dead and injured, to give long-serving soldiers a break from combat, and to strengthen its ranks to repel attacks from Russia’s larger forces and prepare for another counteroffensive. “We understand the request of the military command and are ready to meet it. This was said openly to the military command,” said David Arakhamia, the parliamentary head of Mr Zelenskiy’s ruling Servant of the People party. At least 11 people were hurt late on Wednesday in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second city, when two missiles struck the Park Hotel. US media reported that the White House would back a move to use some $300 billion (€274 billion) in Russian assets frozen in the western banking system to fund Ukraine.
