BCCI to revive domestic red-ball for women’s team, expected to start post WPL 2024
After the Indian women’s cricket team played One-Off Test matches against England and Australia at home, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has decided to start women’s days cricket in the month of March-April. The richest cricket board in the world didn’t have any domestic multi-day events for women since 2018. We don’t have red ball cricket for the women’s team (currently) and the BCCI felt it’s time to start day’s cricket as well as domestic cricket for womens,” a BCCI official confirmed to The Indian Express. Voluntary freezing of trading accounts: How will SEBI’s new norms safeguard investors?
Starting July this year, investors will be allowed to freeze or block their trading accounts in case they notice any suspicious activity. It will include modes through which a client can request the trading member to voluntarily block their trading accounts and the time period within which the request shall be processed and the trading account shall be frozen/blocked. The guideline will also talk about the action a trading member has to take upon receipt of a request for freezing of trading account and the process for re-enabling the client for trading. SEBI has asked stock exchanges to ensure that the guidelines issued on voluntary freezing of trading accounts by clients are implemented by trading members with effect from July 1, 2024. A trading account is an investment account which helps retail investors to buy or sell securities.

रीवा में किसानो पर प्रशासन का पहरा; आभार यात्रा निकालने से बिगड सकती है कानून-व्यवस्था, SDM ने यात्रा पर लगाई रोकरीवा। संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा के संयोजक शिव सिंह ने बताया कि संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा के तीन चरणों में 14 जनवरी के कार्यक्रम थे।पहला कार्यक्रम 12 बजे किसानों को कृषि यंत्रों के साथ विवेकानंद पार्क में इकट्ठा होना।दूसरा 1 बजे अस्त्र पूजा तीसरा अस्त्र पूजा के बाद अस्त्र यात्रा लेकिन प्रशासन ने तीसरे चरण अस्त्र आभार यात्रा के कार्य क्रम की अनुमति नहीं दी है।इसलिए विवेकानंद पार्क में मोर्चे के नेता किसान दोपहर 12 बजे इकट्ठा होकर अस्त्र पूजा कर वापस हो जायेगें हम कानून और संविधान का मान रखते हैं।लेकिन मध्य प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री एवं जिला प्रशासन रीवा एक देश में दो कानून थोपना चाहते हैं जनता के लिए अलग सत्ता के लिए अलग जिसका संयुक्त मोर्चा बिरोध करता है।कानून और व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए नहीं दी गई है आभार यात्रा की अनुमतिरीवा। संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा रीवा के संयोजक श्री शिव सिंह द्वारा 14 जनवरी को रीवा शहर में विवेकानंद पार्क से विभिन्न अस्त्रों, तलवार, वल्लम, लाठी, कुल्हाड़ी, कुदाल, हंसिया-हथौड़ा आदि के साथ आभार यात्रा की अनुमति मांगी गई है।एसडीएम हुजूर सुश्री वैशाली जैन ने बताया है कि संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा को आभार यात्रा की अनुमति नहीं दी गई है।जिले में 14 जनवरी को मकर संक्रांति का पर्व मनाया जाता है। जिसके कारण शहर के सभी प्रमुख मार्गों में भीड़ रहती है। नगर पुलिस अधीक्षक रीवा द्वारा भी आमजनों की सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से आभार यात्रा को अनुमति न देने का प्रतिवेदन दिया है।कानून और व्यवस्था बनाए रखने तथा आमजनता की सुरक्षा को ध्यान में रखकर संयुक्त किसान मोर्चा को आभार यात्रा की अनुमति नहीं दी गई है।

Bengaluru traffic police launch AI-backed ASTraM app
The Bengaluru traffic police department on Saturday launched its new artificial intelligence (AI)-backed ASTraM app which will provide holistic insights on road traffic scenarios for the city. The ASTraM or Actionable Intelligence for Sustainable Traffic Management app aims to provide the Bengaluru traffic police with situational awareness to take data driven decisions for effective traffic management. This keeps track of historic data, enabling a comparative analysis with real-time traffic, according to the traffic department. Based on this reporting, BTP’s Traffic Management Center (TMC) monitors the on-field traffic situation for resolving the same in coordination with the jurisdictional traffic officials and other stakeholders. In addition, the traffic police have also deployed 10 drone cameras for traffic monitoring across the city to monitor the traffic situation during morning and evening peak hours.
