Eneo even adds that during the first half of 2016, it registered 55% less explosions on its transformers compared to the same period in 2015. Therefore, there will be an increase in the electricity supply capacity in Yaoundé in the Centre and Southern regions, in general, of about 30 MW. To strengthen this, Eneo indicates that it is imperative that massive investments be made on the power grid (transport and distribution). The public electricity service concessionaire announces that it has a program which has already been submitted to the Cameroonian government to strengthen the distribution network.
