Bangladeshi national Masuma Khan has been released from a US detention centre after 31 days. Her daughter attorney Riya Khan also filed an appeal with the immigration court. At least 125 government primary school teachers have been injured and received treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital following a police crackdown on protesters demanding 10th-grade pay. Several of the injured remain hospitalised, said Muhib Ullah, a teacher leading the protests, on Saturday, according to bdnews24.com. “Our teachers have suffered injuries numbering over a hundred, with several in critical condition. A tornado accompanied by strong winds and heavy rain struck the southern Brazilian state of Parana, killing six people, the state government said on Saturday. Russia launched a barrage of drones and missiles in overnight attacks on Ukraine on Saturday, killing at least three people and damaging large energy infrastructure facilities in three regions, Ukrainian officials said.
