The New York Times has introduced the next title coming to its Games catalog following Wordle's continued success -- and it's all about math. In Digits, players are presented with a target number that they need to match. Players will get a five-star rating if they match the target number exactly, a three-star rating if they get within 10 of the target, and a one-star rating if they can get within 25 of the target number. So play Digits while you can, as The New York Times may move on from the project if it doesn't get the response it is hoping for. Digits' beta is available to play for free now on The New York Times Games' website

Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL), a Tata Group company, has successfully formed a joint venture (JV) with Pegatron, Apple's second-largest manufacturing partner in India. This partnership will boost Tata's iPhone manufacturing plans, complementing its existing iPhone assembly plant in Karnataka, acquired from Taiwan's Wistron last year, and another under construction in Hosur, Tamil Nadu, where Pegatron will be its JV partner. Forbes India had reported in April that Tata was in the process of taking over Pegatron's Tamil Nadu plant. Apple's iPhone contract manufacturers in India currently include Tata, Pegatron and Foxconn. Despite this, China still accounts for over 85 percent of iPhone manufacturing.

Two TuSimple China subsidiaries last week registered an increase in assets collectively worth $150 million, according to Hou’s declaration and information from public filings. As of September, TuSimple China had around 200 employees. While TuSimple delisted earlier this year, the company is still registered with the SEC and thus subject to U.S. scrutiny. Once the money goes to China, shareholders in the U.S. will have no recourse to claw back funds from their original investment. The series, which was unveiled this week, is modeled after tennis' four grand slam events and will open in Kingston, Jamaica, in early April. Not surprisingly, many of the athletes Johnson has recruited to his new circuit agree. Fisher, third in both the 5,000 and 10,000 meters in the Paris Olympics, called Grand Slam Track "the future of the sport." If Johnson's hunch is right, Grand Slam Track might prove to be the way athletes and promoters begin bringing that money — and the fans — back.
