In light of recent immigration crackdowns, U.S. universities like Columbia University and Cornell University released guidance advising international students to postpone international travel plans over spring break. Studying in the U.S. was supposed to be freeing, but instead it has made my boyfriend feel trapped. ADVERTISEMENTStudying in the U.S. was supposed to be freeing, but instead it has made my boyfriend feel trapped. International students bring with them a diverse set of perspectives and cultural traditions that American students can learn from. That’s why Trump’s crackdown on international students is so alarming.

A reporter asked Trump about it on Wednesday, and the president did not like the question at all. To me, that’s the nastiest question.”That got Trump’s critics talking about TACO:America, this is so utterly embarrassing. pic.twitter.com/6hfr0FnV7t — Matt McDermott (@mattmfm) May 29, 2025AdvertisementI just found out why everyone is tweeting #TACOBecause Trump always chickens out. (Photo by Evan Agostini/Invision/AP) via Associated PressPierce Brosnan has spoken out about his polarising accent in the TV series MobLand. One critic in The Irish Times, for example, described Pierce’s accent in MobLand as a “horror for the ages”, while The Independent’s review called it “preposterous”. AdvertisementSpeaking to Radio Times, Pierce explained that because his own accent is “very soft”, his character’s is “a million miles away from me”. Pierce also claimed that he told his MobLand dialect coach that he “needed a Kerry accent, so he gave me the name of a man and I Googled the guy and that was it”.

LOADING ERROR LOADINGFBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino announced Monday that the agency is reinvestigating the case of the cocaine found at the White House in 2023 ― an incident that prompted Donald Trump to wildly speculate that the drug belonged to then-President Joe Biden or his son, Hunter Biden. AdvertisementRenewed interest in the matter is likely no coincidence after Trump exploited the controversy during his candidacy. “Does anybody really believe that the COCAINE found in the West Wing of the White House, very close to the Oval Office, is for the use of anyone other than Hunter & Joe Biden,” he wrote on Truth Social that summer. Advertisement“But watch, the Fake News Media will soon start saying that the amount found was ‘very small,’ & it wasn’t really COCAINE, but rather common ground up Aspirin, & the story will vanish.”Trump double-downed on his theory a bit later. In 2024, Trump claimed that Biden was “all jacked up” during a State of the Union address.

Then one year later, they fired the editor beneath me and decided I could handle things on my own. My mother, after I told her the news, didn’t say congratulations but: “Wow, I really didn’t know if you’d say yes.”Well, yes mom. That’s when something all-too familiar happened: My team shrunk at work, and I was asked to pick up the slack. It felt like the ultimate test, and I accepted:No, I cannot work extra hours because we are short-staffed. Come Monday, instead of feeling like a hero walking into work like I often did at the beginning, I felt nauseous.

My husband, Nate, and I used to assume we’d have kids. Nate and I met our dog in Louisiana, a 4-year-old-ish black rescue Lab-shepherd mix we named Delta Burke. We were on our way to Oklahoma City, where my husband, Nate, would be on assignment for three months, and had rented an Airbnb with a large backyard for her to roam. The kind stranger who would serve as Delta’s death vet gave us five minutes to say goodbye. The author's dog, Delta.

That is, until she found herself towel-clad and hungry, enjoying a bite in the shower — and decided to hit record. AdvertisementJessica described “a little ledge” in her shower that makes casual eating there do-able. Co-host Sunny Hostin offered support, telling Jessica the practice “makes sense”, but Whoopi Goldberg was less convinced. Jessica responded saying, “She’s just doing what she’s got to do to get out on time,” which prompted the anchor to say: “I understand.”

So THAT's Why Women Prefer Hotter ShowersShower control set to "hot" Karina Syrotiuk via UnsplashOn his shared TikTok account, app user Micah – from the couple’s channel Micah & Sarah – shows himself standing over a stove, cracking his neck like a nervous boxer. Differences in bath (or shower) heat tolerances between men and women are commonly joked about. There’s a biological reason for the differenceOn TikTok, Dr Rajan explained: “On average, women have a higher core body temperature than men.”ADVERTISEMENTYou might think that would keep women toastier, as a rule. Your hands, your feet, and even your earlobes,” Dr Rajan said. “So,” Dr Rajan ends, “those geothermal showers are less of a preference and more of a biological necessity and survival tactic.”Related...
