Sereno cited today the achievements of the Supreme Court (SC) in speeding up proceedings in the trial courts, transparency in the judiciary, and enhancement of the welfare of judicial workers. In her speech, Sereno paid tribute to her colleagues Justices Mariano C. del Castillo and Estela M. Perlas Bernabe for their role in the SC’s outreach programs and rules on commercial courts, respectively. Sereno urged the SC employees to inform the people of the SC’s achievements and to set the “gold standard for public service.”“We should always be thankful and happy.
