Zuwara Security Directorate managed to thwart an illegal immigration attempt to the European shores, from the coast of Zuwara. "The Directorate received information that a boat was being equipped to set sail for Europe from the city's shores," the Information Office of Zuwara Security Directorate stated. "The security patrol surrounded the place and found 49 migrants, including 8 women and 6 children hiding in a rubber boat waiting for the rest of the group, before setting sail for Europe," the information office added. The migrants were transferred to Zuwara Security Directorate before being handed over to the competent authorities.
