Zhuliang feels betrayed

KUALA LUMPUR: Outgoing national diving head coach Yang Zhuliang feels he has been unfairly blamed for the recent issues faced in the sport. Responding to a statement made by Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin earlier today, Zhuliang said he was surprised by the claims made by the minister. "I am surprised by the statement made by the minister, how can I possibly be in control of everything?" Zhuliang, who is the most successful coach in the history of Malaysian diving, added that he is resigned to the fact that he is no longer needed. The National Sports Institute (NSI) are bringing in an Australian coach to fill in the void left by Zhuliang.
