PETALING JAYA: The DAP’s newest member Datuk Zaid Ibrahim has already ruffled feathers within the ranks, just days after joining the Opposition party. The Puchong lawmaker, also a CEC member, said Zaid should have consulted the party leadership before making such a remark. “I find it strange that Zaid has chosen to make such an announcement as a DAP member without first consulting the party leadership. Zaid joined the DAP on Tuesday, saying he believes he will be able to reach out to Malay voters through the party. The Opposition leader is currently Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, who took over from her husband Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim after he was jailed for sodomy.
