KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 10): AirAsia X will start flying to Hawaii from June 28 this year, under its Kuala Lumpur-Hawaii route. In a statement today, AirAsia X group CEO Datuk Kamarudin Meranun said the airline would operate four flights a week from Kuala Lumpur to Honolulu, Hawaii via Osaka, Japan. "This is the game-changing destination we have all been waiting for. AirAsia X issued the statement in conjunction with the launch of the Kuala Lumpur-Hawaii route in Osaka today. Kamarudin said AirAsia X would offer one-way fares, starting from RM499, for reservations made between Feb 11 and Feb 26, 2017 for travel between June 28, 2017 and Feb 6, 2018.
