more-inRAMANATHAPURAMIn a suspected love affair, a 10-member motorcycle-borne gang stabbed to death a 24-year-old engineering diploma holder here in broad daylight on Sunday. Police said S. Siva Manikandan alias Manikandan was standing near his house in Pulikara Street after having his lunch when 10 persons, armed with deadly weapons, came there on four motorcycles and stabbed him to death. The motive for the murder, however, would be known only after the accused were nabbed, the police said. It showed the gang members coming on two-wheelers, pulling out long knives and stabbing Manikandan to death, they said. Meanwhile, Superintendent of Police Omprakash Meena has formed a special team, headed by Additional Superintendent of Police S. Velladurai, to investigate the case.
