MANGALURU: A youth hailing from the village of D V Sadananda Gowda, Union minister for programme implementation and statistics, was manhandled by members of Saffron organizations as they suspected that he, along with his family got converted to Islam . Some local politicians were about to visit his house to convince him about 'Ghar Wapsi'. Sathish, who wanted to avoid them, tried fleeing in his vehicle. When activists noticed it, they chased his vehicle and intercepted him near Murur Bridge. A large number of police personnel have been deployed at spot to avoid any untoward incidents.
