Youth leaders unhappy with CS Kariuki

Led by Gideon Keter, the URP National Youth Congress President, the youth leaders cited the appointment of individuals to serve at the National Youth Council. Youth leaders have faulted Public Service CS Sicily Kariuki (pictured) for sidelining young people in her ministry. The CS last week in a gazette notice appointed nine people to serve for three years as members of the National Youth Council. Keter said the CS erred by appointing the members without giving young people an opportunity to elect their representatives as stipulated by the law.
