Debraj DebAgartala: The Tripura Congress on Saturday severed alliance talks with indigenous parties and announced candidates in 56 seats for the Assembly polls on February 18. The remaining four seats are likely to be shared with Trinamul Congress which is holding alliance talks with the Congress. The Congress list has PCC president Birajit Sinha and legislative party leader Gopal Chandra Roy contesting from their home turfs Kailashahar and Banamalipur. "They wanted to negotiate with the BJP by flaunting alliance talks with us. He said his party was still in alliance talks with the INPT and NCT, which had earlier held alliance talks with the Congress as well.
