A reader got her wish, and her car repaired instead of written off, after Ellen Roseman contacted the insurance company. She filed a claim with TD Insurance, operating under the name of Primmum Insurance. When she didn’t get any answers from TD Insurance, she made three attempts to follow up with the TD Ombudsman’s Office. This month, she asked if I could help get her car repaired without more delay. “Is it fair to punish a victim?”” Crystal Jongeward, a spokesperson for TD Insurance, helped escalate this complaint on Jan. 8.
