The Big Moon is still new enough to be growing into its own sound, but its recorded output thus far will deliver tingles of pure joy if you’ve been longing for a return to that awesome moment during the ’90s when English gals with guitars totally took over. Harvey all come to mind, while tart-tongued singer/songwriter/guitarist Jules Jackson is a vocal dead ringer for Louise Wener of the late, great Sleeper.
