Since the inauguration of the ministers in President Bola Tinubu’s cabinet, all eyes have been on them to see what unique innovations they will bring to the polity. She is also said to be the first female minister from Cross River State, and the youngest minister in the country. Edu is a Fellow of the Royal School of Public Health, and the African Institute of Public Health Professionals. Other projects include Project Total Health, Project Zero Hunger, Project Light Up and Project Resettlement Cities, among others. Before this appointment, she worked as the Commissioner for Finance and Co-ordinating Economy in Imo State, making her the youngest commissioner in the cabinet of the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma.
