The collision happened near Ruakiwi Rd and Collingwood St shortly before 8am on Tuesday. A young woman has sustained serious injuries after colliding with a car in Hamilton's CBD. St John ambulances and police responded to the crash, between a pedestrian and car, near Ruakiwi Rd and Collingwood St, shortly before 8am on Tuesday. A 20-year-old woman was taken to Waikato Hospital with serious injuries, Waikato police Senior Sergeant Tina Shaw said. Police are speaking with a number of witnesses.
