Toronto police have charged a York Region officer with assault in connection with foot chase that took place in March. York officers pursued the man on foot. Investigators say an officer from York Region’s canine unit assaulted the man with a weapon during the arrest. York Region Const. Michael Partridge, 35, has been charged with assault with a weapon and assault.
