ISLAMABAD: Mishaal Mullick, the wife of Kashmiri Hurriyat leader Yasin Malik, Saturday bashed India over the detention of her husband and said India has crossed limits of barbarism in the occupied territory. Malik, who was arrested from his Maisuma residence in Srinagar, was lodged at Kothibagh police station., Kashmir Media Service reported. Earlier, Indian police arrested dozens of leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) of the occupied territory from their residences during nocturnal raids across the occupied territory. A senior police official in Srinagar told Reuters that the arrests are part of a crackdown ahead of Indian elections set to be held by May. JeI cleared that “any attempt of eroding or tempering with Article 35-A is unacceptable for people of Jammu and Kashmir”.
