Yair Netanyahu’s post attacking critics of his father won support from US white nationalists THOMAS COEX /AFP /Getty ImagesThe son of the Israeli prime minister posted an image on Facebook that was designed to attack critics of his father, but which has been criticised for its apparent antisemitic imagery. The post by Yair Netanyahu, 26, drew rebukes from Israeli and American Jews, but apparent support from US white nationalists, including David Duke, once head of the Ku Klux Klan. Binyamin Netanyahu declined to comment yesterday when asked about his son’s post, which was later removed. The cartoon seemed to suggest that there is a conspiracy against the Netanyahus, who are embroiled in several criminal investigations. It depicted George Soros, a critic of the prime minister; Ehud Barak, a former prime minister; and Eldad Yaniv and Meni Naftali, anti-Netanyahu protest leaders.
