After inaugurating the Vizag Yachting Festival at the new jetty on Thursday, he said the yacht festival was the first of its kind in the country wherein people can enjoy the luxury yachts, experience water sports activities like scuba diving, snorkelling and spend a day in the sea. “We want to create a kind of tourism package for the travellers where they can spend one day at Araku, one day yachting in the sea and one day in shopping and experiencing the beauty of the city. Our aim is to offer experiences for every kind of traveller where they can come to Vizag and unwind,” he added. The Chief Minister, later, took a short ride in the luxury yacht Sea Norita. Selfies galoreWhile the inauguration of the festival was delayed by a couple of hours, a team of media personnel and the winners of the online contest got a chance to experience a short ride on the luxury yachts.
