China reported of 22 new confirmed coronavirus patients on the mainland Sunday, among whom 17 were locally infected in Xinjiang. All domestic patients were reported in northwestern Xinjiang, the National Health Commission said in its daily report on Monday. State media sid, that Urumqi market supervision authorities have done nucleic acid tests on samples of imported seafood, livestock and poultry. To date, 9,081 market entities have been inspected, 15,308 samples have been taken, and the test results are all negative. As of Saturday, Xinjiang recorded 13 local infections in Xinjiang, taking the total to 30.
