The product in question, a smart speaker that it calls simply the Mi AI speaker, is Xiaomi's answer to Amazon's Alexa-powered Echo, and Apple's recently announced Siri-powered HomePod. The Mi AI speaker can be literally asked to play music, live radio, audio books and even children's stories. The Mi AI speaker will initially be available for beta testing in August exclusively in China and its future will then be announced at a later date.
