Xbox Will Get Activision Blizzard To Work On Classic Franchises, Says Phil Spencer

Xbox boss and Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer has been talking to The Washington Post as part of a new interview, and he mentioned during the discussion that he wants Activision Blizzard to work on some of its classic franchises. I really think it’s about adding resources and increasing capability.”The Washington Post used an example of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time developer Toys for Bob being "folded into supporting Call of Duty games" recently, but hopefully that won't be as prominent under Microsoft's leadership. It should be noted that Spencer told The Washington Post that he wants the teams to "work on a variety of franchises from the Activision Blizzard vaults" — so that could suggest dormant franchises as opposed to the likes of Crash Bandicoot, Tony Hawk and Spyro — but you might argue that those are now part of the Activision "vault" as well. In any case, we just can't wait for Xbox Game Studios to get stuck in! What classic franchises are you hoping to see Activision Blizzard work on under Xbox?
