Official viewing figures show Monday's episode began with 2.75million viewers, but by the end of the show just 1.68million were still watching. X Factor: Celebrity, won earlier this month by Megan McKenna, got the lowest ratings of any series at the time, sinking to 2.2million at one point. And TV sources are saying if things don't pick up as X Factor: The Band concludes, it could spell the end of days for the franchise.
