40th annual Sunshine Coast Festival of the Written Arts is under wayOne of Canada’s longest-running literary festivals is under way in Sechelt this weekend. The Sunshine Coast Festival of the Written Arts marks its 40th anniversary this year. It was founded in 1983 by Betty Keller and members of the SunCoast Writers Forge. The non-profit society that runs the annual event is supported by a 10-member board of directors and more than 150 seasonal volunteers.
