Merely placing your finger on it does not mean you have reached your destination, because the seed slips out soon after, prolonging your journey. All through the 36-hour journey, I kept wondering what Chennai was going to be like. What’s important, however, is to recognise that the journey is more important than the destination, just so that we invest more in the journey and make it more pleasurable, because the destination is not in our hands. But the moment I arrived in Chennai, I felt as if I had lived in the city all my life. Because destination is like the tomato seed that slips away as soon as you place your finger on it.
