NewsThe Norwegian vessel SS Sørlandet, the world's oldest full-rigged ship, is currently in Sri Lanka as part of its two-year circumnavigation of the globe. The visit to Colombo is only one of 44 ports and 22 countries that the ship is visiting on its journey. The vessel has 27 sails and has sailed the world's oceans for 90 years. At present, 51 students from the A+ Academy in Norway, both male and female, live and learn on this ship. Much of the sailing and other duties onboard the vessel is done by the students.
