The U.S., meanwhile, is far from being the driving force it was during the Paris talks under President Barack Obama. The country has already presided over three previous rounds of climate talks, and its heavy reliance on carbon-intensive coal for energy is forcing Warsaw to mull some tough measures in the years ahead.
