World’s second-deadliest snake found in Aussie laundry basket

An eastern brown snake was found in a laundry basket in a home on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. For one family on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, laundry day turned into a nightmare when a snake was spotted amongst the dirty clothes. Snake catcher Stuart McKenzie was called in and determined it was one of the most venomous in the world: a small eastern brown snake. He shared a photo of the catch on Facebook calling the animal "stunning" but "highly venomous". McKenzie, a snake catcher with five years experience and the owner of The Snake Catcher 24/7 on the Sunshine Coast, relocated the animal back to the bush.
