Works Ministry to oversee construction of military polyclinic at Penrissen army camp

KUALA LUMPUR: The Works Ministry will help oversee the construction of a military polyclinic at the Penrissen army camp in Kuching to ensure it meets its 2019 deadline. “The construction works at the site will start on Nov 27 and the project is expected to be completed in two years’ time,” he said. Fadillah was responding to Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein’s statement during his surprise visit to inspect the progress of the military polyclinic and military family housing at the camp yesterday. Hishammuddin said the construction of the polyclinic, at cost of RM31 million, should have begun three to four months ago. Therefore, since the committee has been empowered to monitor all the projects, we will make sure that the delivery is in place,” he said.
